HISTORY

By the mid-twentieth century, Made in Italy had spread throughout the world, especially in the manual processing of leather goods. After the leather craftsmanship of the Corani family in northern Italy was passed down from generation to generation, the leather workshop was handed over to the Corani brothers Giuseppe and Luigi.

In 1971, Giuseppe immerses himself in the joy of the birth of his daughter Barbara Corani, and in the meantime, the birth of the little girl has brought new ideas and inspirations to Giuseppe and Luigi, in fact the brothers immediately decided to name the brand after their daughter. The brand interprets both the independence and elegance of contemporary women, and the deep love of the father towards his daughter.

In the 1980s, the Barbara brand team gradually expanded, and in 1996, Barbara's board of directors decided to rename the brand to Barbara Milano to emphasize the birthplace of the brand, Milan. Instead, the logo was presented with the perfectly symmetrical double B as the main body. Since then, Barbara Milano has been presented with a new name and logo.
